Our customer wanted her plants protected from wind and rain during the winter. The Santiam Handyman was tasked with designing and building a sturdy, lightweight system that can be installed by one person in late fall and taken down in early spring. We used 1″ LVL, pressure treated bottom plates, and lightweight polycarbonate panels for the walls. This is a modular system that is easily dismantled and stored when not in use.
